Its Friday,the 12th mahashivratri day, festival celebrated worshiping Lord Shiva who used to destroy all devils and evil forces but now there are devils in form of politicians ruling our land imposing orders on us in the name of democracy.
We are made to apologize for no reasons , we are made to speak,watch movies,watch cricket,listen music,study languages, celebrate festivals as per their choice.
It was BOMBAY when I was born,but now its MUMBAI.
It was V.T when I first traveled by train, but now its C.S.T.
Today it was reported that Shahid Azmi, lawyer to 26/11 accused was shot dead.
Now the report says this guy represented several criminals in his career the one accussed in Malegaon Blasts,Mulund Blasts, Ghatkopar Blasts, and several cases.
He is hot favourite among militant groups like Lashkar-e-Toiba.
This guy has served few years in Tihar Jail where he finished law and started his career.
Now the politicians at one hand doesn't allow an actor of SRK's caliber to promote arts,games,etc in Pakistan but a lawyer having a criminal background is allowed to finish law and use the profession to support terrorists from there.
When we apply for a job,passport,degree we are made to undergo several background checks,family background,employee history in previous firm etc and our life becomes difficult even if we have a single record of law-breaking but people like Azmi
manage to get a white collar job of a lawyer even after spending years in jail.

So Mr.Politician your frequent bandhs,rasta rokos,rail rokos have caused no good but harm to people of our own state,policemen of Mumbai having sleepless nights protecting a theater with no audience in it.

While rest of world might be watching MNIK on weekend but thanks to your efforts on weekdays we Mumbaikars, we Maratahi Manoos are deprived of the same. The movie will lose it fizz in a week and Pirated Copies will be available in market which people will buy/download/distribute. BTW Pakistan,Dubai etc has a big role to play for piracy in India. So you ended up supporting Pakistan.

I hope you could spare time this busy week making a plan to spoil Valentine's Day as all these years you people were active on this day of the month.

SleEPy ThOughTs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its Saturday night ,3 am and everybody around me have fallen asleep including the mosquitoes who are now tired tasting my O+ve blood. Mosquitoes have grown intelligent over the years as they have got an idea that am a universal donor. BLOOOD SUCKERSSS!!!!!!!!!
I had nothing to do so opened my laptop and just decided to pour in my thoughts and maintain a soft copy of the same.
Often this thought crosses my mind what if I had not been in IT field?What If not an Engineer ?If I ask my parents they no doubt will answer I would be like another furniture at home which wont serve any purpose.
We always want to do something in life, something different from others , different from people around us but due to family pressure especially in an orthodox middle-class family where every nanosecond is judged by a calendar whether its an auspicious time or Mr.Rahu /Mr.Ketu /Mr. Shani / Mr.Yem is busy spoiling our work. These four characters are the most busiest in my life keeping a watch on me and easily held responsible if things go bad or fail.
What if such orthodox people enter IT field?
What if such people enter the Management?

The client interactions will be based on Panchangam(A calendar at my home which lists auspicious & bad timings in a day) . So if a conference call happens between an IT company and Client the scenario might be like this :
All Characters and events in the scenario are purely fictitious. Any resemblance with either dead or living is purely co-incidental.

Mr. PanjabaKeshan Iyer (project manager) : Mr.Roger, We will be going ahead with the developments but today is Ekadasi, so its not a good day to start.

Mr. Roger (Client): When can u deliver the product for testing?

Mr. PanjabaKeshan Iyer (project manager) : Soon Saar, Will mail u the timelines tomorrow at 6.22 AM as its auspicious time of the day. Our developer Mr. Ramalingam will be performing special archana for the product's long life.

Mr Roger (frustrated) : Please mail me the timelines ASAP !!!!!!!!!!!

Its a 1 day work but since all the developments will be done only during SUBHAMUGURTHA NERAM (auspicious time) after proper GANGA SNANAM (holy bath ) and chanting prayers the total time estimate will be 5 days. As there is a ECLIPSE in between ,strictly on developments will be done that day as the product is more prone to bugs especially when the eclipse happens.

Mr. Roger opens up the mail of timelines and fuming with anger calls up the Project Manager and curses himself for getting affiliated with such an IT company.
This was the last thing he would have expected from the project manager who had put in a voice alert:

“Hi.I am PanjabaKeshan Iyer. Please call tomorrow before 9 AM as its Saturday and the company staff will be busy in NAVAGRAHA PUJA.” after 9 AM.

Mr.Roger feels defeated and calls off the project . The IT management makes a study for the cause of failure and the blames Project Lead Mr.Narayana Shastri for sneezing once during drafting timelines email as it is considered as a sign of evil to sneeze just once and then stop .

The scenario ends here .

We often come across such people in our households who being from well-educated, well-qualified background follow all such nonsense to gain success in all walks of life. For them God is like a Project Manager to whom we need to give status updates for every improvement in life. They pray all day and all night wishing to protect them from all bad things, omens etc instead of spending few minutes for thanking him for keeping life busy.
God didn't ask us to chant prayers for hours to communicate with him or spray something on forehead and body as an uniform or donate one's belongings/money/gold etc. People donate money to religious places which have become another business center to invest but fail to understand that , its We, who need money for survival and not the God so why don't we donate it to needy?
What if God himself does the work our way and stops looking upon us during times we believe to be inauspicious?

I believe that its we humans :
Who have the longest life span ,
Who utilize maximum of the available resources,

and its we humans :
Who waste most of our life believing in omens, luck and blind faith.

God evolved us and gave an ability to think, not to follow these omens, but to curb these beliefs still causing taboos. The only way I believe to control these beliefs is to strictly avoid practicing such unwritten laws designed thankfully not documented by some antisocial freak in the name of GOD.

If not our elders ,for whom I feel sorry, but at least our future generations to come would have ample time with open minds free from such taboos thus opening up new avenues for betterment of all.

I am finally feeling sleepy after almost 2 hours of thought-sharing process.

MUMBAI FOR ALL...........

Its been a year now and still the POLITICAL BABUS have left many questions unanswered to cause and agony faced by people during 26/11 attacks. Though the fire on Taj DOME has been doused but the fire is still burning in hearts of soldiers and people who lost their loved and dear ones during the attacks.

The barbarians like KASAB have a grown a year old and may be celebarting may more birthdays to come, in our INDIAN jails with full security and AK -47s guarding him , protecting him from the citizens of the nation whom he had tortured and killed showing no sign of the mercy.I pity cops providing security to a guy who enjoyed spraying bullets on their fellow cops.

But, the GOVERNMENT is busy taking baby steps in resolving the issue and put an end to conflict with nation like PAKISTAN. I think almost every INDIAN knows there is only one way to maintain peace in India and stop terrorism by Pakistan.

Almost the root to every problem be it Kashmir issue or terrorist attacks has been Pakistan so why doesnt government take some stern actions to stop the same?

The times have changed,

The leaders have changed,

The Governments have changed,

The political parties have changed,

The countries have changed,

But the issues still persists between the two countries.

The GOVERNMENT has become like any other IT firm in corporate world and politicians are like we software people. The only difference is we create bugs reported by TESTERS and fix them while politicians report bugs created by fellow politicians and never try to fix them else they will be on bench with no work. They always need some role to play to prove their presence in party else they will be like any guy who travels in local train top for his daily bread fearing another 26/7 attacks.We dont need terrorist nations to destroy peace here when we have few local dadas as politicians doing the same job in the name of doing service to people

Its true GOD exists and we need to thank him he made one planet with life in it where localites within country are busy fighting for land,water,jobs,etc and Politicians for separate states, nations,power,greed etc

Easy targets are celebrities and personalities who fall prey to these issues .I was shocked to hear when a political party targeted Sachin on his comments “Mumbai belongs to All”which is the truth. Mumbaikars should remember that, it is NSG guys who played vital role and sacrificed their lives to save victims and at that time they didnt think about saving their state people first and then the Marathi Manooos. Mumbaikars woke up raising voices against this for a day or two but then they need to go back to routine for daily bread with the same old fear of being attacked by PARTY ANIMALS and not terrorists after things returned to normalcy.

Almost every Indian knows Sachin, a cricketer who is no less than a soldier serving his nation till every muscle of his body supports him. If it had been for money,fame,riches I think Sachin would have left cricket long ago because he has more then enough of everything. Its pure hunger to make his country proud the way he is good in. The whole nation watches when Sachin plays protecting his helmet from the ball struggling to save the flag engraved from ball – hittings.

Any person who does his responsibility and duties with full commitment is a true Sachin fan, a true countryman.

Lets try to be Indians and not local manoos..

Lets try to think for nation and not be selfish.

Lets strive for the country and not for the state.

Lets learn to live life as Charles Darwin said “Survival of the fittest...”.If you are fit enough to face the competition you can survive anywhere and we localites should be proud that its our Mumbai that gives people an oppurtunity to prove their capabilities thus making this place a land of oppurtunities.
